The Incredible Influence of Mindful Breathing

Why do we say it’s a power we all have?

Even though we have this power at our disposal, we often do not exploit it because its importance is not taught to us or we do not spend time learning and practicing mindful breathing techniques.

It is a great power for several reasons:

Access to it whenever we want

Our breath is always with us, available at any time and in any place. It does not require special equipment or a specific environment. You just need to learn how to use it.

Emotion regulation

It helps us manage negative emotions like stress, anxiety, and anger, and can promote positive emotions like calmness and serenity.

Physical well-being

It improves our physical health, helping to reduce blood pressure, increase lung capacity, and improve blood circulation.

Increased concentration and mental clarity

Practicing mindful breathing can improve concentration and decision-making ability, as it allows us to focus on the present moment and free ourselves from distractions.

In a society characterized by immediacy and constant activity, we often neglect the importance of connecting with our own breath and its regulatory capacities. The moment we begin to explore and incorporate mindful breathing into our lives, we can experience the benefits of this extraordinary power.

It’s your turn! Practice this simple exercice

Did you know that it also matters through which nostril we breathe? Don’t believe it? You can try it yourself: the next time you’re under stress, try breathing through the left nostril, closing the right one with your finger.

We offer you this exercise for FREE, a simple exercise that you will find in the course. Does your body and your thoughts relax?

Breathing through the left nostril has a relaxing effect, while breathing through the right nostril has a stimulating effect. This is due to the connection between the nose and the brain: each nostril is connected to a specific area of the brain, on the opposite side. Thus, the left nostril is linked to the parasympathetic nervous system, which lowers body temperature, blood pressure, and the sensation of fear. This causes a sensation of relaxation in your body.
